Fighting over stupid things is just… well, stupid, so don’t do it. If someone is making you mad contact a mod/admin or just ignore the person chances are they are just trying to get attention.

About the cussing, some people don’t like excessive cursing and there might be under-aged kids around that their parents don’t want saying those things so be courteous to them and limit your swearing. About one to two curse words per sentence is okay by me. More than that is absolutely unnecessary but we really would prefer it if you wouldn't cuss in the chat box.

There is a place to do that and it’s called the advertisement and afflicts board. If your showing someone a site if they ask about it than that's okay. Just no spamming it saying, "Come to my site!! [link to site here]" than that's a big no-no.

This makes it easier on the staff, so they don’t spend time moving posts when they could be doing other things like coming up with more Pokémon for your enjoyment. Atomic Kitten didn't spend forever making them for nothing ya know!

No one likes spammers and if you are caught doing so just to increase your post count your post score will be set back to 0. There are other things you could do to increase your post count ya know...

Keep the curse words to a minimum of three per paragraph (5 sentences per paragraph). I don't mind it but you never know how old people actually are.

I actually enjoy debating politics and stuff but a lot of times saying the wrong thing and someone else seeing what your saying in a different view can often cause fights. That is something we don't want to deal with here so I'm just not even going to give it a chance. Besides, talking about racism is VERY wrong as well as sexism and a lot of other things so we will not tolerate them either.

This just makes it easier to keep track of and makes it so we don’t have too much of a off user-count.

We don't mind how many characters you have here but try and use them all. If you think you have too many and you want to thin the amount of characters, there's the disowned character's board that you may place them in so someone else that has time for them may adopt them.

Just because your character got into a fight with another person's character in a rp doesn't mean you actually got into a fight with the owner of the other character. It is nothing to get into an argument/fight over. Both parties of the fight will be given a warning, no excuses. [Anyone who reports a fight to a mod or admin will be rewarded for the first fight report.]

P.S. Only Kitten is aloud to hold a grudge because she has a special way of holding a grudge. You'll find out if you piss her off to that point. >83

Thanks to a certain member, not mentioning any names..., this rule is now in place. When typing a post, I know you see all the fancy buttons above the box you type in and you may have the urge to make your post look 'pretty' and you think it's presentable when your done but let's think about this for a moment. If you put what your character says in bold and what he/she is thinking in italics, that looks great! that way the other people can differ their words and thoughts from the rest of the post. that is perfectly fine[but not required]. Also, if you change the color of the words to accommodate when a different person, say your pokemon, is talking. That's actually helpful sometimes as well [also not required]

Now if you decide to make your entire post a different color, say, red? Let's think about that! See, there are different skins for the site other than the one you are using, such as the Christmas skin. that has a red colored background for the tables and green text on it. Wouldn't it be odd if you couldn't see what the other players typed unless you highlighted the text? Yeah, that would get old after a while. What I'm trying to get at is also the Glow, Marquee, and shadow options. DON'T USE THEM, EVER. It's more annoying than anything unless you are trying to 'pretty up' your personal profile. Yours, not your character's. You know, the one located HERE.

Look, I know you guys absolutely love to place awesome pictures in your signatures and stuff but please, don't make your signature longer than 300 pixels long cause then it just stretches out the board and not to mention, it's just annoying.

The avatars, I don't mind if they are funny, mean, weird, makeing fun of characters, whatever. I really don't care. What I do care about is if you want a large image to use as your avatar, please resize it to at the most, 150 x 150 pixels. If you don't, it just stretches out the mini profile and pisses everyone off okay? Thanks.

Please have a link to your character's profile and pc in your signature. If your signature is too long, pm toxickitten and she can shorten it for you with nothing deleted.

After making your character and role-playing for a while, If something happens like you made a new friend or catch a new Pokémon or your character has their birthday please update your character's profile so it is up to date.

I'm sorry but I couldn't think of a title for this rule that wasn't really long. Basically you can only be in two towns at the same time. The towns must be next to each other. It doesn't matter how many posts that you say their in while in that town. [Sorry if it doesn't make sense.]

Taijitu Isle is surrounded by very rocky beaches. The only way into the island is by the docks weather it be by ferry or Pokémon, that's where your first post is most likely going to be. If you flew into the island, it wouldn't be into one of the inner towns. PM the admin or one of the mods to do so.

After the two days you may say what your character does next then wait two more days and post again. You may repeat this process for as long as you'd like, someone posts, or you wish for a mod/admin to put your post in the trash compactor.

You must have at least 150 words in your post. There are two word counters on the site, USE THEM! We cannot reply to a two sentence post! There's nothing to use in our post when we reply! Talk about the scenery or the weather. How about the fabric wrinkling on your character's shirt when they move their arm or something, anything will do! Just make it to the 150 words minimum! There is no maximum. <-lol, this rule is only 77 words!

Use '[OOC]' when your role-playing and you want to say something that's not in the roleplay like '[OOC] Sorry guys, didn't mean to take so long in typing it!' but make sure you post your [OOC] at the BOTTOM of your post.

When attacking, say you used a certain attack then wait for your opponent to respond and say their Pokémon was too tired to doge the attack or they used an attack to defend themselves but the other attack over powered theirs or something. NO GODMODEING!! NO CHEATING! NO LOOPHOLEING!! <- Violators of this rule will have their character deleted and will not get the chance to replace it![New!!]If you decide to have a pokebattle with someone, you both have to decide on how much $$Moolah the winner will get from the looser, that way there will be no fighting over it.[/New!!]

Only the staff may play characters like nurse joy, construction workers, villagers or officer jenny unless you have that character in your list of characters! [You may say the town was bustling with people outside the Pokémon center and nurse joy was dealing with a small group of trainers and their Pokémon or something like that though. That's describing them, not playing them.] If your rp is stuck because you need someone to play these characters, message a staff member and ask them to play him/her for you so you may continue your rp as you'd like. [This includes Wild Pokémon and Legendaries.]

Do I have to say it? Do not take control of other’s characters, it’s wrong and will get you banned. You are not all high and mighty that you can strut around and take control of other’s characters, even if you are a “bad guy” and use some kind of mind control, the do have a chance to fight.

A Pokémon is not invincible, not even a legendary. You will only be warned once cause it gets really annoying to others after a while of seeing it over and over. The second offense will be banishment of your character you used. You will not be able to create a replacement character for it and it will not go to the Disowned Characters board.
